In order to broaden its services, Albert Keijzer set up a joint venture a few years ago together with Flexitank under the name K en K Solutions. This company specialised in packaging, repackaging and storing liquid and solid substances for the food and cosmetics industries is fully certified and has a fully automated filling line for butter and fats. Automated filling line for butter and fat.
K en K Solutions has a fully automated filling line for repackaging butters and fats. Clients can supply their products such as: coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, palm oil, mango butter, etc. (in large volumes). The products supplied can be packed in 10 kg, 12.5 kg, 15 kg and 25 kg cartons and 25 kg buckets. Special packaging can be filled on request.
The filling line is set up in such a way that even difficult products such as shea butter are filled at the right temperature. During the filling process, sufficient cooling time is taken into account to prevent crystallisation.
The filling line is composed of an automatic box filler, bag placer and two filling heads with adjustable temperatures through scraped coolers. During the process, a weight check and metal detection takes place. After filling, the automatic sealing head ensures that the pack is vacuum drawn before the box sealer delivers a fully packaged product. At the end of the filling line, a stacking robot takes care of the transport preparation on pallets.

The automated filling line is Kosher, EU-BIO and NOP-USDA certified.
Melting and storage/transhipment.
K en K Solutions has a 'hot room' where various forms of packaging such as IBCs, boxes, barrels and totes can be heated so that they can then be repacked into a different packaging unit.
Furthermore, heating installations are used (e.g. for flexitanks) and a large melting installation is available for the remelting of fats.
For storage and transhipment, K en K Solutions has its own tank park with 26 insulated and heatable 60,000-litre tanks. A number of tanks are equipped with an agitator.
